1. What does “data processing” mean, and who is responsible for it?

2. What personal data do we process?
The personal data that Lifeworx Group and Lifeworx Connect process about you depends on the nature of your interaction with Lifeworx (Connect).
When you apply for a job through our websites or by other means, we ask for your consent to process your personal data so that we can help you find a suitable job.
A. When you use our websites, we collect:
- technical information about your device, such as your IP address, browser type, geographic location, and operating system;

B. When you fill out a contact form or sign up for a newsletter, referral program, event, or webinar, we may collect the following information:

C. When you register for access to the Lifeworx Connect platform, we may process the following data, depending on your status:
- You are a Lifeworx Connect user: name and email address;
- You are a Lifeworx customer (including the online store):
- Name, email address, phone number, shipping address;
- Billing information
- Order history;
- You are a Lifeworx (Connect) partner
- Name, email address, mailing address, phone number;
- Billing information;
- Photo
D. Lifeworx Group also occasionally processes public data, namely data found in public databases such as the Cross-Reference Database of Enterprises, data that you yourself have made public on a website, and data that is generally known or has appeared in the press

F. We do not use automated data processing or profiling.
G. As required by law, we do not process sensitive data, such as data regarding your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, or sexual orientation.
3. Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data to provide you with the requested information, products, and services in a personalized and efficient manner. We use personal data:

- to fulfill a contract;
- to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation;
- in cases where Lifeworx Group has a legitimate interest that outweighs the interests of the data subject.

D. Within the Lifeworx Connect environment, we process your data for various reasons, depending on your role and interaction with the platform.
- You are a user of the Lifeworx Connect platform
When you register for the Lifeworx Connect platform, we process your personal data to maintain your profile. This processing is based on your consent. If you no longer wish to use our platform, you can delete your profile at any time.
- You are a Lifeworx (Connect) customer, including the online store
- The preparation and management of customer contracts may involve the processing of your contact information, billing information, and transaction data. We do this to fulfill the (purchase) agreement between you and Lifeworx (Connect).
- More specifically, your name, address, specified shipping address, order history, and transaction data are processed for the purpose of keeping you informed about orders, delivery status, and any returns.
- You are a Lifeworx (Connect) partner
The preparation and management of partner contracts, the creation of a profile on our platform, and invoice processing may involve the processing of your contact information, billing information, and photo. This enables us to fulfill the agreement between you, as a partner, and Lifeworx (Connect).
- You are a supplier to Lifeworx (Connect)
We process the contact information—including, if applicable, a phone number—of the contact person you have designated as a supplier. This processing is based on our legitimate interest, which is to efficiently communicate with our suppliers.
E. In addition, we process your personal data to comply with legal obligations or to respond to any reasonable requests from authorized law enforcement agencies or representatives, the courts, and government agencies or organizations, including competent data protection authorities. We do this based on a legal obligation.
F. We process your personal data to conduct statistical analyses with the aim of improving our websites. We do this based on your consent.
G. We process your personal data to develop new products and services. We do this based on our legitimate interest.
H. When you apply for a position or submit your resume, Lifeworx Group is permitted to contact previous employers for reference checks for quality assurance purposes. This information will be included in the candidate’s or employee’s file. In these cases, we rely on the legal basis of consent. Lifeworx Group consistently requests this consent at the time (and at the location on the website) when it wishes to collect the data based on consent.

In such cases, these third parties always act under the responsibility of Lifeworx Group and are not permitted to process personal data on their own. These parties are also always bound by a specific data processing agreement;

Within the Lifeworx (Connect) platform, no information about you or your orders is shared with client-employers. When an order is placed with our partners, you are redirected to our partner, after which the latter’s data protection provisions apply.
5. Security of Your Personal Data
We guarantee that the security policies we implement when processing personal data are always adequate, in accordance with the current state of the art, to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
6. Retention Period
Lifeworx Group will retain and process your personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the agreement and in accordance with the purposes of the processing, as described above.
After all, a suitable profile is a dynamic concept, as you, as a job candidate or client, continue to grow and thus tap into a new range of roles or require new services.
Your personal data will therefore be retained as follows: for the duration of the services in accordance with the purposes described above, an active retention period applies; and once there is no longer any contact, a passive retention period of 1 year applies, unless otherwise required or necessary by law.
7. What are your rights, and how can you exercise them?
You have various rights regarding the processing of your personal data. If we ask for your consent to process your data, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
